Why every Pepplo product shares one core: BaseKit

If you have used more than one Pepplo product, you have noticed they feel the same: the same installer, the same admin panel, the same settings with tabs. That is because they share one core called BaseKit.

What BaseKit provides

  • A browser installer that checks the server and sets everything up.
  • Roles (admin, staff with permissions you tick, users), sign-in, registration and password reset.
  • Settings, email and SMS templates, a homepage builder and an extension system.
  • Security: a request firewall, security headers, encrypted sign-in, two-step verification, IP blocking, backups, GDPR and KYC tools.
  • A demo mode for public demos.

What it means for you

  • Improvements reach every product. BaseKit 1.5 added encrypted sign-in, a password policy and Force HTTPS — TGGroups 1.2 has them too.
  • Learn once. Running a second Pepplo product feels familiar from the first minute.
  • Fewer surprises. The core is tested across many products and installations.

Built with Laravel

BaseKit is built on Laravel 12 and ships with everything it needs, so you do not need Composer, Node.js or SSH on your server. Plain CSS and JavaScript keep the pages light and easy to customise.
