WAGroups and TGGroups: two directory scripts, one family

Pepplo Web Technologies makes two directory scripts. WAGroups is for WhatsApp groups and channels. TGGroups is for Telegram groups, channels, bots and more. They share the BaseKit core, so the admin panel, installer and security features feel the same.

Why Telegram needed its own script

• A Telegram address such as t.me/name can be a group, a channel, a bot or a person. TGGroups reads the real type from Telegram's public page.
• Telegram has links that are not chats at all: sticker packs, emoji packs, chat folders, themes and mini apps.
• Telegram channels can be grown with a bot — TGGroups posts approved links to your own channel.

What they share

• Moderation queue, reports, categories, countries and languages.
• Featured listings, Ad Manager, reviews, link health checks, import and export.
• Public API and an Android app.

Running both

Each script has its own license and is installed on its own domain or sub-domain. Many owners run a WhatsApp directory and a Telegram directory side by side and cross-promote them. TGGroups also has a More Platforms extension if you want WhatsApp, Discord, Signal and Facebook links in one directory.
